1. WHAT IS A CONSULTANT?
Usborne Books at Home Consultants are independent business owners authorized to sell Usborne Books for a commission. Consultants earn income by putting together parties online or in person, taking orders from customers, and also by helping others join Usborne to grow their team.
2. Why do I need to buy a kit to become a consultant?
When you sign up as a Consultant, your kit will include access to a personalized website, training, flyers and graphics, as well as Usborne Books for a variety of ages and interests. This will give you a chance to show off titles that you might not be familiar with and get started with your business!
3. I don’t know any consultants in my area. How can I join?
Usborne Books at Home can connect you with a Consultant who will be more than happy to help you get started and welcome you to our Usborne community. Click the Join Now button or contact info@usbornebooksathome.ca.
4. When will I start making money and how much will I make?
As soon as you join, you can start selling Usborne Books. New Consultants earn 20% commission on their first $1,000 in sales, and then 25% on retail and party sales after that! Commission is paid twice a month. There are so many other opportunities to earn more than just commission on your sales, by building your own team you can earn commission on your team’s earnings as well! Reach out to a Consultant to learn more about all the potential beyond sales.
5. I am not really a sales person. How will I know what to do?
Usborne Books at Home is a small family business and our Consultants find our community one of their favourite parts of joining! Your sponsor (who you sign up with), will help you get started with training videos, step-by-step processes, and coaching to help you get started and provide support every step of the way!
6. I’ve been a consultant before; can I rejoin?
Absolutely! Please contact consultantsupport@usbornebooksathome.ca to begin the reactivation process and we will be able to help you rejoin the Usborne Community!
